Resident PGA professional and Nike Staff Player

John Froom has been the Club's resident professional since 1993 before which he was assistant professional at Schloss Ludersburg in northern Germany. He has been full PGA professional since 1990 and a Nike Golf Staff professional since 2010.

He is also a member of the Foremost golf organisation which offers members and visitors a wide selection of golf clubs and other golfing equipment at very competitive prices.

John dedicates most of his working week to Nefyn and its members and enjoys hosting corporate days giving either individual or group tuition. He also hosts a very successful Junior Academy and Ladies Taster Weeks which will be running again in the Spring.

John is married with three children of whom the youngest Thomas has caught the golfing bug and is to be seen most days out on the golf course. In the shop the professional is also assisted by Mrs Michelle Swallow, Tegwyn Jones, and Carwyn Jones.
