April 2007
Captain and Lady Captain unveil the Club’s Centenary plaque celebrating
100 years’ of golf at Nefyn.
Captain and members toast the future of the Club at the unveiling ceremony.

May 2007
Members of the Club celebrate the 100th birthday of the Club on 7th May 2007.

June 2007
The first playing of the John Wales Founders Cup with the Cup being awarded
to D.A Smith by the Captain, Lady Captain and a member of the Wales’ family.

July 2007
Nefyn hosts the Welsh Boys’ Championship and the winner, Joe Vickery from
Newport is presented with his Cup by the Club's Captain and Dr Phil Dixon,
President of the Golf Union of Wales.

August 2007
Nefyn celebrates it's Centenary Year with a lavish Ball, entertaining over 350
members and guests with guest appearances from The Pasadena Roof
Orchestra and the TaylorMaid Band.

September 2007
Nefyn plays host to members of Golf Clubs from other parts of the Country who are
also celebrating their Centenary Year.
Captain, Mr Emyr Evans played 100 holes around Nefyn and raised over £3000 for his chosen charity.

November 2007
The Club’s Centenary dinner hosted by the Captain, and Lady Captain with a
number of distinguished guests, including, David Harrison, Captain of the R&A,
John Parrott (Guest Speaker) and Dr Phil Dixon, President of the Golf Union
of Wales.
